Parking June 4

Parking for Mass on June 4th  see maps below

The Raleigh County Club next to our campus is hosting the UNC Health Championship on their golf course for the first time this June. It is an important golf tournament to host and they are very excited about it. They have asked, and Fr. Peter has agreed, to use some of our property as a staging area, overflow and training for their many volunteers. Saint Joseph's is well compensated for the use of our property. They have always been a good neighbor to us and have allowed Saint Joseph the use their facilities when requested, even though we are not members.

A temporary fence is being set up in preparation for the weekend. On June 3 and 4, the area highlighted in yellow on the map below will be blocked for parking and access for golf tournament volunteers. The Parish Center will be restricted for use of the staff and tournament workers.

You can still enter through the Poole Road entrance. We estimate that the regular Mass parking for Saturday will not be a problem.

Parking will be available on the grass in front of the 614 House and the 620 House, facing Donald Ross Drive. Parking volunteers will be on hand to help on Sunday. Please follow their directions.

We hope to continue our neighborly relationship. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
